This year, the Geneva Motor Show had set up a wonderful scene with many automobile giants lined to launch their surprise packets at the show. The electrifying atmosphere with innovative cars from all round the world became a heart throb for car lovers.

Rolls Royce 200EX

The Rolls Royce 200EX made its world debut serving as an entry-level offering. This concept version sedan is priced to compete against Bentley Continental Flying Spur and the Mercedes Benz S-class. Possessing not a very formal look, the car features some excellent exteriors with thin, prominent LED headlamps, large chromed door handles and a hood made of stainless steel for casual car lovers. V12 engine – a new generation engine, will be powering this luxury. A much pleasant integration of the bumper and the front grille together gave a rich front end look to the car making it the best of any current Rolls Royce in terms of design.

BMW 5 Series GT Concept

The BMW 5 Series GT Concept introduced the hatchback idea quite successfully at the Geneva Motor Show as the most fashionable luxury car format. The interior however created more buzz than the exteriors in many ways.

Volkswagen Polo

Choosing the eve of Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen unveiled its Polo supermini, the fifth generation car. The car enthralled the visitors with its longer headlamps and honeycomb lower grille. The understated design elements have been used intentionally to gain an edge in terms of simplicity and the overall appeal of the car. Though the exteriors looks nice, the too understated interiors give the car a boring look. The material quality is a pleasure like all other Volkswagen-branded vehicles.

Infiniti Essence Concept

Coming to wild concept cars, the grounds of Geneva never left its audience disappointed. This year, Infiniti Essence was one of the few car concepts that left the car lovers astounded. Curvy styled, this two-door two-seater luxury coupe is a gas/electric hybrid combining twin-turbo 3.7-liter V-6 with an electric motor that boasts of giving an enormous output of 600 horsepower. Its silver model looked stunning and graceful with a driver-oriented dark-grey cockpit and a passenger area that was colored in burgundy.

Toyota Verso

The new Verso compact MPV stood out in the segment. The bulging front headlamp units, concave hood surfacing and a swage line sweeping up from the front wheelarch and connecting to the spoiler at the rear contribute to the exquisite exterior. The interior of the car featured a theme that was aptly described by its designers as ‘smart wave dynamism’.

Nissan Qazana Concept

Blending interesting designs of an SUV and a sports car, the Nissan Qazana concept has been designed for a youthful audience. Its suicide rear doors, 20-inch wheels, made many eyes roll with surprise and excitement. The center console, if we talk about the interiors, is designed perhaps taking inspiration from the fuel tank of a motorcycle while the door panels with exposed metal supported the sporty look of the car. Muscular yet curvaceous is the right combination of words that describe the car the best.

Mazda 3 MPS

Powered by 200kW+ turbo 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine, Mazda 3 MPS was amongst the few new hot catches at the show. It was indeed a good surprise to see it in an aggressive front apron and body kit add-ons, new look fog lights with beefy tires.

An offering from Swiss firm Rinspeed, iChange is a high-performance vehicle which flies at a top speed of 137 mph with a powerful 204-hp motor. And guess what? Many functions of the car are controlled by an Apple iPhone. The visitors related its front with a Cobra snake face. Its exciting front and unbeatable interiors made this car stand one amongst the ten outrageous cars at the Geneva Motor Show.

Aston Martin One-77

Frazer-Nash Namir by Giugiaro Concept

The design of this striking Italian supercar is dictated by a diamond theme. The interiors feature brown Alcantra and leather.
